There are BIG mistakes that bloggers make when writing blog posts or articles on their site.
And it leaves the viewer with an overwhelmed feeling when reading your content.
Are you making these same mistakes? If you are, don’t worry.
They’re easy fixes once you know what they are.
Here are the 3 BIG MISTAKES that most bloggers make when writing articles.
How To Write Articles For Blogs
A big mistake that most bloggers make when writing articles is having big blocks of text, Aka, massive paragraphs.
Having big blocks of text, aka massive paragraphs, makes it hard for the reader to read and it discourages people from reading your content.
Because here’s the deal…
When viewers see massive paragraphs, they tend to feel overwhelmed with the amount of information they will have to consume… and most of the time people will choose to not read it all or just skim through the article…
…rather than investing the time to actually read it.
And on top of that, with massive blocks of text, people will make the decision right then and there whether to read your article, just by looking at the structure of the post.
Just take a look with how my article is set up… is this starting to make sense?
Have you ever looked at someone else’s blog post and just by the way it looked… it made you make a conscious decision not to read it?
Think about it.
Size 14 Font Is The New 12.
Another big mistake that I see most bloggers make is using small font as well as weird font types.
The main purpose of font is for reading. Use a simple font that’s easy to read.
The reason why size 14 is the new 12 is because people are using small 13 inch laptops, tablets, cell phones, travel computers, etc to surf the web these days.
Make their life easier.
Consider the Viewers EGO When Posting an Article.
When writing an article or a blog post you have to consider the viewers EGO.
What do I mean by this?
Well, here’s the deal… people will be hesitant to share your content on Facebook or other Social Networks because they might be worried what people or their friends will think.
Now, don’t be hesitant to be yourself or write stuff you’re interested in.
I’m just saying… think how people will respond to your content.
If you’re posting content to a spammy page just to get a sale, will people share it?
Most likely not.
Just make sure you offer value and make sure it’s share proof.
