    Many Thanks Joe for liking my recent post about breakfast in Peru. I watched your video. I like your enthusiasm for helping others. I think I have a lot to learn about blogging with the view to having many followers and eventually creating income. I will rearrange my about page now after reading this…I just had a go a writing something fun which I got a kick out of when I sat back and realised how much I had actually achieved in more recent years. So my aim perhaps is to inspire others to try new things and explore who they really are and especially to check out this gorgeous planet and its amazing people…..Jeekers I have just rewritten my about section here…..LOL…cut and paste! I will stay tuned…Merry Christmas you too! (o;

Yeah, I was stoked on that post. I’m actually moving to Lima Peru in a couple months, I actually have family that’s been living there for the last 10/15 years.

So I’ll be visiting them, and just bouncing around all over South America…

I’m glad you enjoyed my tips and found them useful… I’ll have to put out another training video sometime in the new year for you guys. Thanks for the comment… I’ll talk to you later buds.

    Hi Joe,
I’m very new to blogging but kept reading how important it is to blog so I’m diving in :) I really liked your video – excellent tips, I added more spaces between my “text blocks” in my posts, removed the date stamp, and am working on incorporating the other tips you noted in your video. I’ll be checking out your mentor’s video too. Once again, thank you.

    Hey Joe:

Glad you enjoyed “Hard-wired Days and Unnecessary Nights in St. Croix:” http://driftersdesk.com/2014/01/02/hard-wired-days-and-unnecessary-nights-in-st-croix-u-s-virgin-islands/

Definitely taking some of your tips! I’m fleeing the Mainland U.S. in February for Thailand, and then who knows where I’m heading from there. Had a pretty good following at my music website, but wanted to get a good Wordpress blog going before embarking on The Great Adventure.

Thanks for the help! Will be keeping an eye open for new tips and ideas.

    Cheers!

Hey man, yeah it was an awesome post, I’m really enjoying your music. I joined your Facebook group as well. Glad you enjoyed the content, I shot another video that you might dig… it’s on blog design, etc.

I get you though, it’s important to get everything sorted before you start travelling. I plan on moving to South America in the next couple of months, and I’m getting everything ready and setup so I won’t have to do it down there, etc.

But yeah, thanks for the comment, you got some kick ass music.

Thank you so much for this post, I am a new blogger and a sinner to many things that you have said. I will me changing my about me section straight away along with removing dates and remember in future space space space! As soon as you said about the spaces I wondered why it had not registered in my blog, as I myself continually start reading then check the content, and if to long I leave it for another time.
I will be following you from now on and look forward to reading you previous posts along with future. Thank You!

    Hey, Joe!

I stopped by to thank you for the follow. This blogging thing is relatively new to me, so I look forward to reading your advice.

Before I leave, though, I was wondering if there was anything on my 2014 Reading List that you have previously read or are interested in reading. I saw that you like self-improvement books, and there are a few of those scattered throughout the list.

Hey Phill, wait till you get a couple more blog posts under your belt and you start getting a following… it can get pretty addictive. Yeah I love reading, I’m always reading… they say leaders are readers. Right now I’m currently reading Chris Hadfield’s book, “An Astronaut’s Guide to Life On Earth” and I have a work book I do every morning before I start my day called, “the magic”.

I’ve read a couple books on your list, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Last Lecture, The Art of War, The Art of Seduction.

I’m glad you enjoyed my tips.. thanks for the comment.

I mean… Naturally a blog about how to get more bloggers is going to attract bloggers looking to increase blog traffic to their blogs.. ;)

Naturally a blog about fitness & health will attracted people that are interested in fitness and health. It’s your job to convert those visitors or any random traffic to your website into followers. It doesn’t matter what you blog is about because whatever you’re into… there will be someone into that as well.

Maybe 10% of my actual blog posts are for bloggers as far as tips go… the majority of my posts are on mindset, success or whatever I find interesting on the internet.

Thanks for the comment though, hope you find my tips useful.

p.s. I love the movie Zoolander.

Respect – It’s one of my favorite movies.

So what do you think is one of your best posts (or series if there’s not one) on here to teach someone to drive traffic to their blog. I am getting better and better, but my topics are quite Taboo. Not every average day person wants to comment even though they may read and come back again and again. Kinda like they want to take part but not be found out… ;)

And yet I would like to bust open the gates because I know there are people out there who do want to discuss these topics.

        Thoughts? …

Hey Joe, I was checking the layout of your blog again and noticed a couple of things. There’s typo in your “Get Updates (it’s free)” box. You spelled genrate instead of generate and a space needs to go between “your blog”. (in that get updates box) Not being picky, just happened to notice and thought you’d want to know. You can delete this comment if you like, I didn’t have your email. :)

Thanks for giving me a heads up. When you have a bunch of things on the go sometimes you miss stuff. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to let me know… Whenever I work with people, I always let them know that you should go over your work every now and again to see if you missed anything. Thanks again.
